HOSA and the medical skills club
Students interested in medicine practice clinical skills, compete at HOSA events, and connect the club to internships in clinical and veterinary settings. The club is one of several that leads straight into a high school internship.
Athletics
Ohana does not field organized sports teams. Many of our students play on teams with local public schools, including Emerald Coast Middle School and South Walton High School, and all of our core courses are approved by the NCAA for students who hope to compete at the collegiate level. On campus, club sports include golf, basketball, volleyball, wiffle ball, GaGa ball, and boot camp, alongside H.O.P.E. (Health Opportunities through Physical Education) and the team sports and games coordinated by our student activities staff.
A schedule that works with serious training
Students who train seriously in athletics, dance, music, or the arts need a school that works with those commitments. With class sizes of 12 to 15 and a project-based program, we build schedules around a student's training, performances, or competition travel while keeping the academic record colleges expect.
