Our admissions process is designed not just to share information, but to help us get to know you, and for you to experience what makes Ohana different. It runs in six steps.
Complete the interest form
Start by telling us a little about your family and your child or children so we can begin tailoring your admissions experience. Once we receive your form, our admissions specialist will reach out personally to schedule a campus tour.
Visit the campus
Tours are offered after school, Monday through Thursday at 3:00 p.m., when classes are not in session, and on a flexible summer schedule. Our classrooms are designed to feel more like home, and a tour is the best way to get a sense of how Ohana supports students.
Complete the application
Complete the online application and pay the non-refundable $350 application fee at the time of submission. Once your application is accepted, a $3,000 non-refundable tuition deposit per student holds the place, and it is applied toward tuition.
Shadow day
After the application and fee are in, prospective students are invited to a shadow day. Each student is paired with a current Ohana student and attends a full school day, joining classes, meeting peers, and seeing what daily life here is like.
Apply for Step Up For Students
Optional, but strongly recommended. This state-funded program typically provides $9,000 to $10,000 per student per year toward tuition. Ohana partners closely with families to make the process smooth and to apply the award directly to your tuition balance.
Choose a tuition schedule
Pay annually, twice a year, or in twelve monthly payments. There are discounts for families with more than one student and for non-monthly payment plans. Our finance team issues a payment schedule once any scholarship award is in.

Who thrives at Ohana
Families come to us looking for something different than what they had before: a child who needs to move and make things to learn, a student who is ready for more than a large classroom can offer, an athlete or performer whose training needs a flexible schedule, or a family who wants their child known by name by every adult in the building. We serve students from Pre-K 3 through 12th grade, and we welcome families of every background.
Mid-year and transfer students
Because our calendar runs in a balanced year with five extended breaks, families often ask about joining mid-year. The answer is usually yes, space permitting, and families applying in the fall may still be eligible for partial Step Up funding. Call 850-231-1140 and we'll walk you through it.
